北京市公安部門對大法弟子鐘貴春的迫害

鐘貴春是很早期跟隨李洪志老師學習法輪功的幾位學員之一. 1990年, 他是北京市公安局豐臺區分局的一名警察. 1990年四月到五月, 王治文, 李雪君和鐘貴春幾乎同時開始跟李洪志老師學習法輪功.

ZHONG Guichun is one of the Falun Gong practitioners who learned Falun Gong from Master Li Hong Zhi at very early stage. In 1990, he was a policeman working at Beijing City Police Department, Fengtai District branch. Around April and May of 1990, WANG Zhiwen, LI Xuejun and ZHONG Guichun learned Falun Gong from Master Li almost at the same time.

From 1992 Master Li began to introduce Falun Dafa to the general public. At that time, besides WANG Zhiwen, LI Xuejun and ZHONG Guichun, some other practitioners including LI Chang, YU Changxin, LIU Guirong and WANG Xiangwu etc were also liaison persons of Falun Dafa Research Association. They played important roles in facilitating Master Li’s teaching of Falun Dafa. In Beijing, Master Li held 13 Falun Dafa seminars, each seminar lasts 9 days. Tens of thousand of people attended the seminar or the learning classes. Since early Falun Gong practitioners who were close to Master Li need to take responsibilities in many different aspects on preparing and holding Falun Gong seminars around the country by Master Li. When Master LI was giving lectures, ZHONG Guichun sat at the back of the platform for security responsibility. He was also Master Li’s driver. He also responsible for contacting local governments and other relevant departments during the arrangement of seminars.

In this unprecedented persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin Regime’s policy to Falun Gong practitioners is to “damage their reputation, make them economically collapsed and destroy their body.” This is a genocidal Fascist policy. In the past four years, ZHONG Guichun suffered long-term mental torture and huge economic losses. His suffering started long before the official persecution on Falun Gong. In fact the persecution against Falun Gong had begun quite early, but it was not made public until 1999. The different levels of police departments were the pioneers in the persecution of Falun Gong. As early as 1993, he already suffered mistreatment and persecution because of his involvement in Falun Gong. The official supression on Falun Gong from July 20th of 1999 was the continuance and escalation of 1993.

In October 1993, they planned to rent Shijingshan District indoor stadium for Master Li’s 14th seminar. Shijingshan District sport committee agreed to contact Shijingshan district police branch to get police’s consent. They never thought this would be a problem. Master Li had held thirteen seminars in Beijing. The police agreed all of the previous seminars. The Beijing City police department knew this as well. Shijingshan District sport committee told ZHONG Guichun that there would be no problem at all and they would be responsible for obtaining police’s consent. On the morning of November
7, 1993, practitioner WANG Zhiwen found ZHONG Guichun and told him that Shijingshan police branch did not approve their planned seminar. On the afternoon of November 7, ZHONG Guichun suggested changing the seminar location to Fengtai Sport Center. The sport committee of Fengtai sport center told them no problem and they could use the sport center. So the seminar was planned at the sport center and WANG Zhiwen would go to Fengtai police branch for the procedures on November 8 of 1993. ZHONG Guichun informed the head of Security and Safety Department of Fengtai police branch who also told him no problem. In the meantime, WANG Zhiwen informed other practitioners about this change. On seeing of this, Shijingshan police branch told the commander center of Beijing City Police Department that Falun Gong seminar had been refused by Shijingshan police branch; Falun Gong practitioners declared that if Fengtai police branch refused the application of the seminar, they would march on Tiananmen Square to protest. (This is police’s defamation. They never, ever had such intention). Head of Beijing City police Department reprimanded the head of Fengtai branch, which at that time was not aware of this. The Beijing City police department informed Fengtai branch that Falun Gong seminar could not be approved. The Beijing City Police department requested that the sold tickets should be refunded on the night of November 8, 1993. On the evening of November 7, 1993, ZHONG Guichun already went back home, Fengtai branch gave him a call and asked him to return to the branch. He was held at Fengtai branch the whole night. The police asked him details of this planned seminar and who coordinated this. ZHONG Guichun told them he made the suggestion to change to Fengtai district and did the contact work. He was not allowed to participate in the fee refunding. Fengtai branch sent more than 100 plain-clothes police into Falun Gong practitioners’ team, to listen to any information relating to the protest, any complaint about police’s decision from practitioners, but they did not hear anything about those. On the contrary, the police found that Falun Gong practitioners were very patient and kind. Practitioners said they understood government’s concern, they could hold Falun Gong seminars later on.

The planned seminar encountered strong opposition from ZHANG Liangji, the head of Beijing Police Department (now retired). The reasons given by him were Falun Gong promoting religion and superstition. Besides as there were too many people. Participating in the practice and cultivation of Falun Gong, there might be a possibility that Falun Gong practitioners making trouble thus affect social order. At last, ZHANG Liangji deprived of their right to hold the 14th Beijing Falun Gong seminar without valid reasons. Under hundreds of policemen’s supervise ion, more than three thousand Falun Gong practitioners were forced to return the tickets on the night of November 8, 1993.

HUANG Qirong, the head of Fengtai District police branch (now retied, and ZHONG Guichun worked at Fengtai District police branch) ordered ZHONG Guiru to give a written report of self-criticisam to confess the so-called mistakes that he had made. HUANG reprimanded him for practicing and cultivating Falun Gong, coordinating and supporting Falun Gong for a long time, his words were “Member of communist Party, police officer has become Falun Gong practitioner.” HUANG requested ZHONG Guichun to renounce the practice of Falun Gong, stop contacting Master Li and confess his mistake in front of him. Only by doing those, could it be possible for ZHONG Guichun to keep his job in police department. ZHONG Guichun refused his request. HUANG discharged ZHONG Guichun from the second lieutenant and section chief, he also requested Zhong Guichun to leave Fengtai District police branch. He told ZHONG Guichun after leaving Fengtai District police branch, ZHONG could not go to other braches of Beijing Police Department, and ZHONG could not be a policeman anymore. Besides they told ZHONG from then on he could not go to any police department, prosecutors’ department, court and security department to find a job. HUANG also told ZHONG Guichun coldly “The communist party that is under the leading of president Jiang no longer trusts you”. From then on, ZHONG Guichun had to leave police department for which he had been working for 19 years (plus 5 years in army, total years in Army and Police Department is 24 years).

On April 25 of 1999, ZHONG Guichun joined the appeal with other Falun Gong practitioners to the central government for the unfair treatment and arresting of Tian Jin Falun Gong practitioners.

On 27 or 28 of July 1999(on Monday), the Communist department of China Chemical and Industrial Products Imports & Export (CCIPIEC) suspended ZHONG Guichun from his work. They also gave his personal information to higher-lever authority: The Central Government Large Size company committee; put him as one of the important persons of Falun Gong. In December of that year, CCIPIEC dismissed ZHONG Guichun from Communist party and also dismissed from work. ZHONG Guichun suffered long-term house arrest/house confinement: they were followed and were requested to live and move in certain areas. If they were at home, the street committee, local police and neighbors, even the cleaning people would follow and watch them. They reported all of their activities to police; like who came to Zhong’s home and so on. During sensitive dates, like public holidays, July 20th and so on; the company would force and drive ZHONG to stay at some remote hotel, and cut him off from any connection to the outside world.

In May 2001, CCIPIEC deceived ZHONG Guichun to a Brainwashing center -Beijing Tuanhe Labor camp. They forced to take ZHONG Guichun to a labor camp, and forced him to listen to the speeches of those who had been “transformed” by the police as well as those who had been released from the labor camp. ZHONG was also forced to watch the videotapes and TV news that defaming and slandering Falun Gong and Master Li. In China, all the public media are controlled by the central government. The various systematic brainwashing educations that Jiang Zemin’s Regime forced onto Falun Gong practitioners and to Chinese people are cruel trampling on the mentality of human being, like those brutal physical torture, the pain and hurt from the mental torture could never be forgotten.

At the beginning of the persecution, Jiang Zemin declared that Falun Gong will be eliminated within three months. Four years have passed; Falun Gong is not eliminated, but has spread to more than 60 countries and areas around the world. Falun Gong has won many awards and is welcome and supported by many people, because Falun Gong is good to the society. It can bring people good heath, it asks practitioners to be good in any circumstance, and it can bring benefit to everyone. And that’s the reason in the past four years, Falun Gong practitioners try to tell the benefit of Falun Gong and the persecution truth to the outside world in spite of the risk.
